Elizabeth was born and spent her early years in Warwickshire, but in her early 20's she began her travels overseas to Spain, Iran and the UAE. While in these countries she was involved with art - painting, exhibiting and teaching.
The UAE was her home for 13 years, and during her time there the Dubai Art Centre became her second home, where she taught painting (in all mediums and to many nationalities), brought over professional artists from the UK, and organised exhibitions.
In 1989 she and her family returned to the UK, much to her disappointment, but 
she soon became involved with art again by working for the Arts Council.
When her husband was transferred to Lincoln they bought an old Methodist Chapel and schoolhouse, which they have spent the last ten years converting.
Elizabeth has been painting most of her life but 5 years ago she started to concentrate on miniatures. She has won numerous awards and shown miniatures in many exhibitions in the UK and abroad. Her work is in many private collections and commercial premises worldwide.
